Parked 2004 Prius hit. Please help identify part.

    Hi fellow forum members,

    My 2004 Prius was hit whilst parked last night. This morning we found this part hanging near the wheel. Can anyone help identify the part so that I can determine which shops can repair it, how long it will take, and how much they estimate the repairs will be. Thanks for your help!

    That looks like a tie rod end to me. Try turning the steering wheel. If that wheel does not turn you have your answer.
