Part Identification: Driver Side Mirror

    Hi everyone, I was backing up and my driver side mirror hit a pole. Luckily the mirror remained intact, but the pole bent the mirror back and chipped a piece from the base. Now the side view mirror, when fanned out, juts out a bit too much since the piece (that was chipped off) is no longer there to keep the mirror in place.

    Can someone help me identify the piece that I need to purchase to replace.

    I am driving a 2016 Prius Three Touring

    Looking at your photos and parts catalog Figure 87-01, Mirror, I believe the damaged part is the left outer mirror hole cover, Toyota part number 87948-47410. The metallic trim (No. 2 outer mirror cover), 8794B-47400, appears to be missing. The Repair Manual (more info) has disassembly instructions.
