passenger scratch door bottom as opening it

I did this on mine one day - it was very minor. I ended up just dabbing some anti rust clear coat on the area. It was only about a one inch strip on the bottom.

 

I don't get all the consternation, especially if it's right at the bottom edge:

Purchase matching colour touch-up pen or brush appicator from dealership. Lie on the ground with with a small file or sanding block, knock off any rough edges. Wipe with isopropyl alchohol. Shake touch-up pen vigorously, apply paint. Paint will flow down nicely, making a perfect seamless repair. For insurance, wait half an hour and apply a second coat. Don't follow up with the clear coat on the other end of the pen, it tends to lift the colour coat.
