    Every home can be built to perform like that and these days it's not that hard, but almost no one is making the effort to learn how and very few people know how. I am about to start designs for affordable 1500 square foot homes with 2 tons of heating and cooling and consumption that averages 500 KWh. Target price to build is 120k to 180k, depending on finish out. They should include 800 feet of conditioned attic and 250 feet of covered porch. I'm just starting to brainstorm it so I'll update if I have any luck with it. It is a hard shift to make because I usually build homes that start at 2.5 million and go up to 10. These times are calling for a change.

    wtg Ray!! the technology is there but simply not mainstream. we need people to start doing it in a massive way but everything starts somewhere
