In Britain in the 1960s, the Mk II Jaguar was beloved by bank robbers. It was big enough to get four big guys into; the trunk was big enough to stash the cash you'd stolen, and although it was reasonably big, it was seriously fast, handled well, and had excellent brakes

In the 1990s, it was the Impreza WRX, for much the same set of reasons.

So you have the performance of the standard iX50 - 0-60mph in 4.4 secs. And it's enormous (except for the trunk, inexplicably). And it handles pretty well.

But now eye witnesses will say "Yes, officer, they got away in a very ugly red car", and then you press a button and head out of town in your very ugly blue car. They'll never find you.

    Brilliant.
