    Apparently there are a lot of folks who want to tax Elon's wealth. Perhaps it is time he give a gift of all his shares to those individuals ... ranging from Biden down. Let them become theTesla managers. Elon still has SpaceX and other companies to excite his imagination. The others will get what they paid for ...

    It does appear that part of this sale was to pay $1 Billion in federal withholding taxes to exercise a slice of his stock options. There is much more remaining in that block of options, which he must exercise on the 'use-it-or-lose-it' plan by next August.
