Not sure if this is common to all phones, it's been a "feature" on my iPhone 5 for a long time, since the last website software revision, maybe 5 years back. This pop-up persists once you're in the quick-edit window, basically obscuring text you're trying to edit, generally being useless.

Also, I'm pretty sure I've started a thread about this before. Trying again.

    Workarounds, to shake the pop-up:

    1. Turn the phone to landscape, then back to portrait. Drawbacks with that: you typically lose your place, are looking at the "buy us a beer" or whatever. More time consuming than the following:

    2. Go through to the full, "More Options" editor. Hey, maybe just delete the quick-edit, make every edit a full one?

I have found the same thing, first in the iPhone 5S and now on an iPhone 8:cool:.

Another trick I do is, depending on what I want edit and where it appears in the post) keep the screen positioned to where the "edit" box doesn't impede my edit;).

Doesn't always work and then I just cancel and try again:whistle:.

Usually get it by the second or third try(y).
