Excited to see what it's all about. The color is Viridian Joule Tricoat, it has the neutral interior with leather, and all the goodies. Total price came to about $45,000. I will try my best to keep y'all updated! :p

    Good luck with your Volt.
Keep us updated, and also give impressions over the real world usage of the "machine".

Good luck. Let us know how things are going 6 months from now. 45K is a big investment for first-year technology.

Excellent! You can provide lots of valuable info and comparisons since you have experience with both 3rd and 2nd gen Prii! Pix please, and cold weather range and mpg statistics when you can would be most appreciated! Also, can you operate those teensy touch buttons with thick gloves?:p

Please track both electricity and gasoline usage manually.

OnStar would tell you MPG based on the total miles (not miles ran on gas) and kWh/100 mile based the total miles (not miles ran on electricity). The result is very misleading and not very useful. It just looks good and appear to have low consumption. That's because they counted the miles twice.

How about pic of rear leg room with you sitting in the back? Also take a comparison shot in the Prius?

Ha, it's a great car surprisingly. The acceleration is so smooth and quiet too! It's so eerie to drive because it's so quiet. I tried out the pedestrian friendly alert thing, just blink your brights and the horn will go "beepbeepbeep!" in three friendly little toots. When it switches to the generator, I'm glad to say that it's so quiet and seamless, it's smoother than even the third generation Prius! It's cool because the engine won't be connected to the drive train, but it's supplying electricity to the electric motor to drive the car.

Here are some more pictures you guys might enjoy! <3

Notice on the screen that say's Volt, there's a number that says "0736" this is special for only the first 1000 Volts, after every Volt made past 1000, that number will not be on their screen, so this one is unique!
