Piece of skid plate? Stamped AD-ZR?

Pulled in the driveway yesterday and when I got out of the car and walked behind it, I found a piece of skid plate laying on the apron to my driveway? Thinking it came off my car as I didn't notice it when pulling in. It's stamped AD-ZR? It's black, filthy, and looks like it attached with a few screws and maybe some push rivots? About a 1 ft x 1 ft piece of black plastic.

    Any ideas?

Sounds like the oil-change door of your under-engine cover. Take a peak under the engine area.

It's more than likely the plastic door that is used to change the oil and filter. It has a flimsy plastic molded in hinge that breaks after one or two oil changes leaving it dangling by the push in rivets.
I, like you, was very lucky the thing fell off in my driveway instead of the road somewhere.
I fixed mine by using some very heavy duty black duct tape (Gorilla Tape) and getting some new push in rivets.

My apologies for the delayed response, and thank you for the feedback on this one... I think Spiderman nailed it. I've attached a shot of the piece that fell off. Not in a huge rush to attach it again, as I may be looking at an aftermarket skid-plate.

Now that you're able to see the part in question, is this indeed what it is? The oil plate cover.

When under the car can you see the oil filter?

Has anyone found an aftermarket replacement for this?
