Last month the PIP outsold both the Volt and the Leaf to become the top selling Plug-in for the month. There were 2095 PIPs sold during the month, the best sales month ever for the PIP. It looks like the price drop is really pushing sales.

Chevy sold 2022 Volts while Nissan sold 2002 Leafs. Ford actually sold more Plug-in Hybrids with 2179 cars but they were split pretty evenly between the Fusion Energy and the C-Max Energi. Overall Ford sold the most plug-in cars last month when you add the 100+ Focus electrics to the count

And that is with the PiP sales still restricted to a handful of states?

I have about 25 in transit. Great rates out of the gate for sure, but since they dropped the MSRP, I wouldn't expect any lease cash or rebate.

I'm posting my 2014 PlugIn deals later today. I have cars at PORT and a few coming middle to late this month. Our 2013's are pretty well sold to the walls other than a few advanced. Remember, the Advanced are cheaper now, as the first few months we'll see the de-contented version of the advanced.

The powersplit plugin hybrids with about a third tax credit are outselling Volt.

I know that the Leaf is available nationwide, and I think the Volt is as well. The iMiEV is also available around the country, though only at select dealers. Roll out the PIP already, TMC!

I think the FitEV and RAV4EV and a few others are California only.

The Ford cars are also nation wide but only through dealers that Ford has certified to sell enectric. Smary EV wad supposed to go nation wide in October but they had to postpone until 2014.

Ok that makes sense. The best advanced tech car has the best sales month, congrats Toyota!

That way, if one combines all the Prius family cars together (including the Aqua which is a Prius C) it will be one of the 3 best selling cars in the world! (the other two are the Corolla and the Ford Focus).

Pretty sure you can buy a leaf and volt around here. PiP...not so much. Still have yet to see another PiP in the wild other than my own...anywhere...even a dealer's lot. Going on 6 months now. :)

Going on 17 months, and have yet to see another PiP in the wild (I know you're out there 9G-man).

Getting my wife an i3 in April, relegating my PiP to gas-hog status...

...that's what I'd like to know how many of the plug-in sales are to public vs. companies.

In November, 2013, sales of the Prius Plugin were down to 1100. This per the dashboard report on the Home page.

How much is the Ford Focus EV in the US and how does that price compare with the Leaf, Prius and PIP?

That implies a trend, which it is not. Stating it as "back to" would be more appropriate. The spike in October was the break in the pattern.

National rollout appears to be coming soon. Here in Minnesota, there has been a single 2014 delivered to a dealer. Just 1 available is a whole lot more than the none we've had.

It's really encouraging to see some progress. Waiting until the 2013 inventory was pretty much sold out prior to expanding required quite a bit of patience. That opened up the opportunity for antagonist spin too, making a sensible business decision sound like something had went terribly wrong instead.

Where I park for work, there are now 6 charging-stations available. I share them with a Leaf. Soon, a Fusion Energi is expected to join us. The owner has plans to add more as demand increases. That's quite encouraging... and quite a relief considering the rhetoric of the past.

By the time Winter's thaw arrives, some owners will be celebrating 2-year anniversaries. That real-world data is priceless in the support of sales expansion. Next looks really encouraging.
