    As much as Disney and the other parks charge, they should fill your battery and/or your tank as a courtesy.

    Well, if they're going to overcharge my wallet, they can at least charge my car to capacity while they're at it. :whistle: Well, actually, they won't overcharge my wallet because I refuse to go there. Haven't been there since the 90s.

    Here in California, if you leave a car unattended on the side of the freeway (most often because it broke down), the CHP will put a road-hazard orange sticker on it warning you that it will be towed if not moved in a certain amount of time. They are all but impossible to remove. You have to scrape the remnants off and/or use something like Goo Gone. I wonder if you could get blank ones and write, "this space was meant for charging only" on it and slap it on one of the car's windows.

    I'd try a polite note first.
    I would not use a sticker!

    It's early days for the EV community.

    The sticker is the kind of thing I’d think about but probably never do. Charging about town isn’t a big issue for me with the Prime. I’ll only do it if it’s free, and if I can’t, it’s not a big deal. You just hate to see people abuse the system.

    The guy works there and so he's entitled to park there he said, so I asked him what part of electric vehicles do you not understand?     That sign says it is electric car parking only when charging. Since he was not charging, the sign does not apply to them.

    it's much more malignant than that. You can't even stop people from taking their chances solo in the carpool lanes, or parking in the extra wide space next to handicap stalls used to access the van's wheelchair elevator. That leaves the wheelchair person stranded & unable to get back in the(ir) vehicle. Those kinds of people are subject to huge fines. Often, they just don't give a rip. Sometimes there's even plug-in car animosity, because many of these spots are closer to where you want to walk to. So you get the passive aggressive creeps that lets them feel like they're sticking it to you.

    Makes me glad I drive a tiny plug in vehicle. I’ve had a corolla parked many times in a charging space I use on my way home. On more than one occasion I’ve backed up to where I was almost touching the corolla (which was pulled all the way to the front curb) and plugged in. I only stuck out a few extra inches from the parking spot.
