I keep my little fold-up-to-almost-nothing reusable shopping bags, my sunglasses and a spare pair of reading glasses. My pocketbook would never fit under there!

As a recovering stick-shifter, I agree (and I miss the stick most of the time, but this CVT is *much* better imo than traditional automatics). :focus: I like the console; it would be a little nicer if it were canted a bit more toward the driver. My only gripe is it's damn near impossible to reach something that falls on the passenger floor. A reality I discovered while almost wrecking it! Won't make that mistake again...

I don't quite understand this one. Are you certain you can't get your garage door to open using the Prius? Please read the manual carefully. Some of the newer openers require a "learned code" -- and the instructions are in the manual.

No, I'm not certain, but my garage door opener is 15 years old. I didn't see anywhere on the main unit that had a rolling code or anything like that, but I could be wrong.

Does anyone with an older garage door opener have it working on their Homelink?!? Please let me know, because I would LOVE to take advantage of the mirror buttons.

nothing is perfect so i picked the one below that option. i agree that not having the cup hold sucks. also feel that we could have had additional storage below the center tray since it would imply that more room would be there as compared to the classics. but then again. a fold out door might be deemed a safety hazard as i guess it could conceivably interfere with the drivers leg. so, i guess, i get a hacksaw and make my own cubby

Homelink worked on an earlier opener installed in '93, so I would imagine you'd have success.

Sorry to ask, but: Are you certain you followed each of the instructions for programming your Homelink?

I can put my purse there, and I also keep my work badge/parking tag, and my garage door opener clipped to the side. Oh, and my dog likes to put his head there when he is riding with me - guess I really should add a pillow

Ask away! No, I didn't follow all of the instructions. I saw something about a rolling code, walked out to the garage and saw nothing like that, so figured I couldn't.

We're getting our driveway paved today, so I'll have to wait for a few days to try it. Thanks for the nudge, though...I will be ecstatic if I can get it to work!!! :D
