Will the lucky folks who are getting their PIPs please post photos of any port options or accessories (body moldings, floor mats, etc.)? This would be a big help to those of us still in line.

There's another thread about whether to purchase these accessories, so discussion should probably go there, but it would be great to have photos all in one place.

I already posted these in the Carson Toyota pictures thread but here are the 2 port options I have from that set:

So for some reason, in the heat of the ordering moment, I forgot to buy the rear bumper applique. I have it on my '06 and like it. Now that the car is in port (and probably out to the dealer today or tomorrow) what would be the best way to get this installed? I've read in another thread to avoid having the dealership do it... should I buy one and take it to a body shop? Tinting shop? Other suggestions?

Any specific recommendations in the SF Bay Area (east bay, south bay or peninsula in particular?)

    Thanks in advance!

IIRC, its a $49 option? I dont know if thats what the dealer would charge to to sell it + install it (I would think so though since thats how its listed on the Toyota page?).

When I looked around (eBay, PC store, etc), it seems the rear bumper applique/protection sells for around $30? For $19, I'd probably just let the dealer do it since it would also be warrantied (in case it changes color or starts to bubble or something).

However, I will also add that doing it yourself should be pretty easy too.

What was the logic behind not having the dealer do it?

Thanks for the thoughts. Do you believe the warranty would be Toyota-wide? I ask because I'm buying the car from a dealer about 60 miles away from where I live... Do you think I could take it to a close-by dealer later if something goes wrong?

Price looks like $69 to me... couldn't find any price on the plug-in website, but it's the price for the Gen III. Anyone remember how much they paid?

    Thanks!

Sorry, you're right.. I just logged in to view my order (which still says my car is out at sea, btw) and it is $69.

Just to clarify, the $69 discussed above is for the rear bumper applique, not the pictured all-weather mats.

My PiP is sitting at my dealership ready to pick up (Capitol Toyota, San Jose, Ca). I asked them if they had the All Weather Mats and how much. They don't have them in stock (1 day to get them) and set of 4 is $138.
Not sure if that's the "best" price I can get them for, but I can't seem to find them on the net anywhere else :-(
WHat should I do? wait? spend the bucks? anyone have suggestions where to get them cheaper? (I am ok with waiting for shipping, etc - not months, but awhile)
    thanks!

Mine listed for $149.99, sold to me for $110.92 plus tax. My local dealer's parts dept does this routinely, I think. I have bought other parts and accessories before and have had a "discount," but I think it is just to make the customer feel good. The cargo mat price I was quoted was $97.73, and I think that is also the discounted price.
The cost of shipping might eat up most of the difference.

    Gary,
Check out PriusChatShop.com, or Prius Accessories forum. They have the mats for under $100. Couldn't find anything about shipping, but even with a charge for that it has to come in under what your dealer is charging for them.

Thanks Roger. I didn't see this soon enough and went to pick up my PiP. The salesperson gave me his 20% discount off parts, so I got them for $119 (still waiting to actually receive them however). Now I see them in the PC store for less. Oh well. Never a deal at the dealership.

Here's some pics of the PIP with Euro Mudguards.

I had the mudguards installed earlier today by Toyota, and not a moment too soon as the rains are currently passing through Northern CA - will post better pics once the weather clears up...

Why did you pick the Euro mudguards vs the US ones? Do you think they install without drills in our PIP's (I know you had them installed at the dealer though).

I bought the side moldings from Prius Chat and rear bumper sticker, so have to get those installed also...
