    everyone! Happy holiday.

Is it possible for the inverter assembly of a gen2 to be used off the car? This I mean, for instance, if I have an inverter that's being lying in the shop, could it be used for some kind of projects to either power some kind of electric motors, or not?

Probably depends on the volts in and out that you need.

You would need to link it to a loop of coolant so it doesn't overheat.

    Thanks for the suggestion.

I think I could also get that Inverter reservoir attached also, and the pump also been powered electrically from a 12volt battery or so, just to keep it cool.

Doubt it would work without an entire network of engine, battery, dash, and transmission computers along with their associated Inputs and outputs. Even then it would still have to be a vehicle operating within proper parameters.

It could be the 21st century version of the “hit and miss” engine of a century gone by;).

    Good luck with the project(y).
