Possible 2016 Prius C purchase (Help Needed)

    Hey All,

    I'm looking to purchase my first Prius and Toyota from a private seller. It's a 2016 Prius C One and has 22,000 miles on it. It has all service records and a day old clean carfax. Assuming the dealer looks it over and confirms all is good is $13,000 a decent price?

    If so, anything else I should specifically look for or ask?


    I'm on mobile and am not sure if this post is ok as I didn't see any guidelines. Wasn't sure which forum etc . Mods please move / remove if this is against forum rules or etiquette. Thanks all!

    Price sounds about right to be honest. Any servicing would have been done at a Toyota dealer I'm sure since Toyota care provides it free for the first 25k. Even after that, it's under warranty for another 11k miles. (Battery is 8 years// 100,000 miles. 10 year/100,000 if your in a CARB state)

    As for "anything else to look for" - probably not with that many miles. Should be in pretty good shape! I seen your msg below about being cleaned. I wouldn't be too concerned about that. A $100-150.00 detail shop cleaning should take care of that no problem. Or if your so inclined, you can do it yourself.

    Thanks! Northeast. No animals. A bit of a strange smell...humidity maybe. I'll have it cleaned thoroughly and change the air filter.
