Possible LEAF Roll-Out Delivery Delays

    there has been a half dozen deliveries or so since Saturday. another 23 have received emails as of Sunday to pick up their Leafs within 7 days.

    with a rumored 90 on the Dec 20th boat, it looks like all 90 will be distributed within the next 7-10 days or so.

    so the deliveries have begun. i still dont have a concrete date and my original sales guy has left the dealership so i will be calling this morning to seek additional details.

    look for my write up! hopefully will start in a week or so!!

    Glad to hear that.

    You're one of the lucky few who have either gotten
    their cars to date or have info from Nissan that would suggest delivery
    in the next week or so.

    Over at MyNissanLeaf.com, many reserver/orderers are wondering
    what the hold up is. Nissan is speaking gobbel-de-gook. Sure, things
    will get straightened out soon enough. But for now, it looks like some
    too-serious-to-overlook problem has been found in the car? the battery?
    the what???

    I'm real happy for you. As an ex-Seattle-ite, ('70-'73, '76-'83) I've been
    vicariously tracking the frustration at first, and now giddy excitement
    you all in the NW have gone through...

    with some Second Tier envy thrown in to. :p

    Can't wait to hear about your Life with the LEAF.

    One question that hasn't been answered over at MyNissanLEAF is how
    the TC works on start-up on slippery stuff. I suspect that you'll have to
    deal with that soon enough and hope you'll report on your experience.

    as far as TC, we shall see. now we set a record high temp yesterday (was like 55º) and that has continued for at least a few more days, but it is January so i will have to assume opportunities will be coming soon.

    if i dont botch the interview too badly, you maybe able to see me taking delivery. KING 5 is scheduled to be there.
