I recently had new seat covers put on, and both front seats were removed from the car. Since getting the car back, the red air bag warning light has stayed on. The weight sensor works in the passenger seat. I'm sure it's just from the connections beneath the seat being unplugged, and involves the side airbags. I've checked, and everything seems to be reconnected securely. Is there some way to perform a reset to get the light to go off, or am I going to have to take it to the dealership. Any advice would be appreciated.

    I suggest the dealer.

Some have replaced the OEM seats with Recaro seats and, in doing so, made the warning light come on constantly. By replacing the seats, they lost the side airbags, which the car is looking for. Only be putting in a resistor did that warning stop.

It sounds like the same thing, there's one connecting the car is looking for and can't find it.

Yes, the light can be reset. Contact the dealer.
