    I just put on the 17 " Forged Prius Plus wheels and Ecopia 422's 215/45/17
    I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM.. The ride is 100 percent completely night and day hands down BETTER than the stock 15's.
    it is MUCH quieter on the road, it tracks like a sports car now, and cornering is not even in the same ball park.
    The wheel tire combo IS LIGHT! and looks gorgeous.. these rims are sweet

    props on the BBS setup Justana! I wouldn't have thought of seeing one on a prius.

    Thank you, Drew... I wouldn't either. I almost gave up at the first time. It's not easy to set with BBS. I'd been asking to all local authorized BBS sellers (including tirerack.com) which BBS could be fitted with prius, but they don't wanna guaranty 100% BBS with prius. They want me to do the homework first...Once i bought it, if it's not fit, i could return but with 15-20% restocking fee.Dang, it's 500-1000 alone for restocking fee...but, i made it...:cheer2:

    Might hurt gas mileage more though because you may be pushing the wheel too far beyond the wheel spats/deflectors and into the air stream flowing past the wheel well. *shrug*

    just make em bigger
    the effect wont be 'less', its just possible some of the flatter front of the tyre is exposed. In the main though, perhaps there is a better way to do it...

    There are a few aerodynamic tricks like this on Prius, such as the use of the flattish fronts of the headlights on Gen II to push air around the mirrors.
