    Yep.

I've been watching the news too...and wondering about when Vlad will start thinking about playing "connect the dots" with Kaliningrad.

    So....
I usually swap "winter gas" for "hurricane gas" in April-May but I'm thinking about starting to roll through and refill cans early this year. ;)

    Other than that?
    Yeah..........

"Probably" not going to be our best market year. ;)

Do you change the motor oil every 3000 miles or 3 months?

Yikes if PA is indexed to wholesale price, Pa. could soon be No. 1 gao tax per gallon.
Virginia had the indexing for a period, but I believe we went back to steady cents per gal, but we did increase it

Once a year is what the owner's manual says. It also says to use regular octane gas. The engineers know their products, and a car's fuel tank is better sealed than the one on a lawnmower, so the fuel doesn't degrade or lose octane before you use it.

The real reason car's have knock sensors isn't to prevent damage from knocking; that's a side benefit. The reason is to get the best performance and fuel efficiency out of the engine. This happens at the point that ignition timing is at the cusp of knocking. The engine computer runs the engine at that cusp virtually the entire time it is on, regardless of what octane is in the tank.

The owner's manual tells us the octane rating required, If mid-grade meets that requirement, use it.

Especially in Ca with super clean RFG fuels but anywhere really...
I would question if octane does anything, years ago that may have meant more additives or more aromatic fuels with more dissolving power. But the RFG means the aromatics content is held down. I don't even know if TopTier Gaso is important anymore, but if so it means they have the additives.
