When I first saw that the power converter is exposed with a high voltage warning sign, I wasn't feeling comfortable if I has to work inside the engine room. As you can see below:

Also there is a wire cover missing as mentioned here:

So I looked for the pieces and found them to be Toyota parts that were not included in the US version. I ordered them from Japan and installed as you can see below:

These are the brackets (stock on the left and the new one is on the right with extra slot to hold the cover).

There are also covers for the coolant reservoir for both the engine and the converter, but I didn't care for those.

Thanks Tanasit for the great pictures and information. I just order the whole set. I notice that after car wash water sipped inside the inverter housing and the fuse box area. I want to keep the inverter dry after car wash.

Kind of expensive $135.00 for a piece of plastic!

No instructions but rather simple: remove the bracket to the left of the inverter and remove the 2 harnesses BEFORE puling out the bracket. Note that the top harness connector you have to press on the tap to pull it out but the lower one you must pull the tap UP. Install the included bracket that has extra slot to catch the plastic pin lock, insert the harnesses back. To install the cover, there is a hole on the outside of the right wall of the inverter so you have to insert the felt covered peg on the bottom right of the cover in to that hole first. Push the plastic pin lock in. If you want a cleaner look, you have to cut the bottom of the cover to blend in with the top panel. As for the big hole which I assume it's for other model, I put the emblem over as seen below:

I later decided to cut the bottom part.

Toyota not including these small 10 dollar bits of Plastic on all versions of the Prius is completely rediculious...but you knew that, $135 for the inverter cover...even more rediculious.

Just wondering if the cover reduces the whining noise associated with the inverter. I agree they should really include the cover as standard equipment.
