Power Inverter an Option?

    I was talking for running the fan in the furnace, we have gas heat but with no way to push the heat it is useless...

    Yes, thats the one I bought! :D I had to drive to PA to get it though, as all the generators south of Tennesee were sold out at this time last year. I didn't have to use it this year, fortunately!

    I'm with you, Wayne! I want to power my well as well as my boiler's pump and the refrigerator. Tapping into the HV power with a big inverter to supply both 220 and 110 VAC, using the big battery capacity of the Prius, and its intelligent charging capability, you'd have the best emergency electricity anywhere.
