My 2010 II has two power sockets, one under the radio, and another inside the center console.

The center console one does not work, whereas the other one does. I checked both the fuses, and even swapped the two fuses. I also checked several other fuses just to be sure. No fuses are blown and nothing changes by swapping the 2 power port fuses.

Anything else that could cause this?

Had this happen to a Subaru and Mazda I used to own. They had a fuse attached to the back of the socket,I jumped them out,but the right thing to do is replace the socket.

Have you tried another cord. A lot of time the cord plug has it's own fuse in the tip.

Yes, the same charger that works in the front socket does not work in the rear, along with many other chargers we have around the house.

I thought my center console was busted as well. I tried another charger and it worked. Turns out the center console is sized really tight. I jammed harder with the 1st charger and it worked.

I added a new power outlet like most cars have on the back of the armrest. Look in the mod section if you want to learn more.

I'd be checking the socket with a simple 12v test light to see if you have voltage. If you do then plug in what you want to use and use the probe on the light to test if the wire on the charger or whatever is getting power. You may not be making contact to the center of the socket.

    hope this helps

If you don't have any voltage coming through, the connector on the back of the socket may be disconnected.
