DOE website shows both tailpipe and upstream Green House Gas (GHG) emissions by zip code and vehicle. These estimates assume that 52.9% of the PP's operation is powered by electricity and the rest is powered by gasoline. Pic compares PP and MY. Reinforces to me that our PPs do pretty well and pure EVs still have GHG emissions. Link allows you to "plug in" your own info.

I think the GHG number for the BEV must be based on the fossil fuel-generated electricity mix in the grid for the zip code provided. If your source of electricity is 100% renewable, then that number for the BEV must be zero, isn't it?

You're right. Upstream emissions are the GHGs associated with the production and distribution of gasoline and electricity.
