Still trying to educate myself about my new Prime. Today, working with contacts, it was extremely frustrating to navigate to some place in the nav system then start working only to have the car shut down in the middle of navigating or typing.... MULTIPLE TIMES!

What is the best way (in your own garage) to keep things turned on when one wants to work with the system?

Don't know, but guessing that there is no way to keep the car "ON" when the charger is attached.

    Any Wisdom Appreciated,
    Beverly Howard

That's the problem, you'll have to do it when it's not attached. With it plugged in, it can only go to on mode, not ready, so it will time out and turn off. It's not real good on your 12 volt battery either...

just do it with a fully charged battery in 'ready'. should give you a very long time before the engine comes on.

Or, drive out of the garage and do it on your driveway READY mode, just in case ICE comes on.
