    With all the criticism of the rear end styling of the Gen 4 Prius. Will the rear end treatment on the 2017 Prius Prime be the new look of the 2018 Prius in an early March or April 2017 release?

    i hope not, i like the lift back rear end better, especially in yoga pants.:cool:

    I would expect a refresh in 2 to 3 years and a redesign in 6 years, but that is just me.

    No. They would likely change lens design for 2018, but doubt any reshaping of Prius rear. 2022 all new Prius, that'll be different rear end.

    I doubt they introduced essentially 2 designs at the same time to then put one of them to the other - I think they want to keep designs separate for differentiation
