    The above poster is in the US. It looks like purple gas is a Canadian prairie thing. :(

    I an originally from Ontario, Canada and had not heard of it. Since there is so much farming in the prairie region, it makes more sense there than in the big cities. ;)

    No, they wouldn't. The cooler was empty, it has a plastic lid, and the glass is far stronger than you think.
