Hi. I have Prius 2007 with 126000 miles and it doesn’t go forward it self unless I accelerate it . Can any body help me I don’t know what’s wrong with it even fuel consumption is very good. Usually when we put in to drive mode Prius goes farword it self but mine doesn’t . Please let me know if any body know about it. Thanks

Are you on a flat and level surface?

    welcome!
fuel consumption IS good? any dash lights? the 'creep' feature is purpose built, and may be a computer problem.
i have never heard of this problem before though.

is your parking brake on? are any of the brakes improperly rubbing? Is a wheel bearing bad?

Has it ever worked or has it always been like this?

Jack up each corner and try to turn each wheel by hand

Thats what I was thinking too the parking brake but that would be a red light on the dash. My guess is also brakes maybe the rear brakes are dragging. Like TMR says spin those rear wheels in the air. The fronts dont free wheel they are really hard to turn.

If it's a dragging brake, you should be able to feel the heat after a short drive. Be careful. It might be REALLY hot.

Assuming imperial mile per gallon, that translates to 46~47 US miles per gallon, still right in the middle of the pack for second generation.
