    So I have a 2010 Prius, new12v battery.

I stopped the car and got out. Locked the doors. Came back about two minutes later, unlocked the doors with the fob, got in, and I have no power whatsoever. It's not like the battery died. It is like it got hit with an empty and nothing electric has any response at all. Locks don't respond, the security light doesn't flash, doesn't show that it knows the key is there, it's just a complete brick. What could cause it to go to full stop like that in literally a matter of seconds?

If you have a 12v battery and getting no response from the car, chances are you have something loose on the battery connections

Or the inverter failed. Happened exactly that way with me. If it is the inverter Toyota may fix it free.

Any updates? Did you get your car started again?
I’d like to know how things worked out.
