Prius 2016 4th Generation: How to remove door panel" and my speaker install.

    On the left is the connector to the tweeter, the right is the connector from Redwolf. The tweeter connector cannot be inserted into the Redwolf.

    This is the stock tweeter connector. I would assume the that purple (-) and Pink (+) wires comes from the front speaker and are then
    wired together at each tweeter location. See pic below

    Question:
    1. can I cut off the stock tweeter and Redwolf connectors and solder the pink & purple wires to the positive and negative wires of the Redwolf?
    2. When #1 is done, I will connect the redwolf + and - plugs to the tweeter's + and - terminals.

    Will the above work?

    Thank you. The road noise levels of both the pavements used around here, and of the Gen4 Prius itself, are such that I can no longer stand listening to even podcasts over the OEM speakers. I may try upgraded from RF speakers like you bought just to see if I can hear things more clearly at 80 MPH.
