Prius bullied on Urban Dictionary...need your help

Sigh... from glancing thru many of the other "definitions", it's disheartening to see the ridiculous amount of misplaced hate and misinformation that's still out there.

The current #25 and #26 need to be voted up.

 

If you are that easily offended, why are you looking at Urban Dictionary?

A bunch of Prii owners with their panties in a wad will just be entertainment and encouragement for the regular Urban Dictionary contributors. You will be reinforcing the stereotype of Prius owners as a bunch of pissy little girls (of both genders).

 

What is the stereotype of an urban dictionary devotee? Or the definition, for that matter.

I'll take a wild guess they have VERY thin skin.

Looks to me as though ALL six definitions are hate-filled anti-environmental rants.

 

Here's a popular game: look up your name in Urban Dictionary. Then you'll see what kind of folks you're dealing with. Personally, I'd be worried if they LIKE something I like.

 

FWIW, last year there was this amusing Facebook/Urban Dictionary meme: Facebook Urban Dictionary Trend Becomes Massively Viral.

It was pretty funny.

I have friends on FB named Winnie and Roger. They looked up their definitions and some of the top ones were pretty amusing.

If you're that worried about what devotees of TUD think about you, sell your Prius and get yerself a $500 wallowed out Chevy four door with $10K worth of stereo and rims installed, or you could be really original and get a pimped out second hand Honda Civic.

I've no need for an Urban dic.
I don't live in "urban", so I really don't care what they say about Prius drivers, and to be candid I didn't bother to read what they said after I read this post. However (comma) I do drive a G3, so I do have a dog in this fight.

The last thing we need is a buncha whiney-assed Prius prudes getting their knickers in a knot because somebody said (or even thought) something unflattering about their dainty little cars.

I get being thicker-skinned, but I'm concerned about:

• their reckless driving
• hostility on the road
• their lead feet driving up the price of gas that I've got to pay - also screws up the economy

If space travel was as easy as catching a SouthWest airlines flight, there would be an easy solution.

For all us people sincerely green, just relocate to that environmentally-friendly world, then let the gearheads left on Earth pollute as much as they want and observe the nest they make from afar. As they ruined the environment on Earth I'd fully expect them to blame the people that left, yet were not available to screw it up.
