No, nothing special or marked off. Also, no one has any idea about when the 2nd generation C will be out.

There are plenty of excellent lightly used (nearly new) low mileage Prius cs around. Find one you like, make a good deal on it and keep it until Toyota decides to send out the next c in a couple of years. If Toyota decides to keep producing the c. No guarantees about that, either.

2015 is supposed to be the Liftback's update target. If they update the c it will happen after that, most likely.

I think that answers your own question.

Even a "good deal" today, isn't a good deal if you are going to be disappointed when the 2015's come out.

And even if you can't or probably can't get "0" percent interest immediately...if you are patient good deals can always be found and made.

My only concern is that I don't know how much of a significant change their might or might not be with the 2015 Prius c.

I know the standard Prius is going to come out with the Gen 4 incarnation, but I haven't heard much about a significant change with Prius c.

I actually ended up going with a 2013 Silver C3. Qualified for the 0% with a 744 score. I thought about it and realized that, at the moment, it's all just rumors in regards to Prius C upgrades, etc.

Congratulations and enjoy the new vehicle.
Sometimes you just have to take the plunge. You can wait forever on change and rumors of change. And really it's a moving target all the time with all vehicles.

Don't know what kind of car you were driving before but with the C you will be saving money on gas now. I can't see the C changing much from its current design being this is the 3rd year of this design and generation.

I was driving a 2002 Honda Civic EX before. Averaged about 32 miles per gallon in it.

I think you'll do better in the C.

This is often not true. If you have good credit, you can often get 0% financing directly from the car company...a lot better deal than any bank. I often use dealer financing and get the lowest rate. We have 750+ credit scores.

While I don't have a C - I decided to get a 2014 primarily for the fact that they are:

    a. designed to pass IIHS small front overlap test
    b. most teething issues have been ironed out with the latest iteration
    c. good deal these days as there is plentiful supply
    d. saves gas - just added up my bill for for 2014 (non hybrid) and it's a LOT! And I don't even drive that much! :( So far, the Prius hasn't even shown a decrease in the mileage gauge! It's amazing. :D

watch out for stealerships, they can trick you with extra charges, if you have a trade in they will underpay you for that or inflate the new car. I payed 20,400 for a C2 before license and registration ect. no trade in.

with the 0% finance for 5 years, I just thought it was too good of a deal to pass. I really like the car and get great mpg

I would expect the prius c will be about the same for a few more years. how many years between generations on the regular prius, I think usually about 5

I think you mean NiMH, NiCd is for the old laptop batteries etc.

Yes, I did. Good catch. NiCd is also used in older remote control cars.
