ERROR in thread title. Correct numbers are: Prius increased 33%, Total hybrids increased 37%.
Moderators, please change the word "Prius" to "Hybrid" in the thread title and then it will be correct. Thank you.

Month to month sales for any car aren't that meaningful. There are always certain months that are better than others. However, comparisons to the same period a year ago are meaningful.

They were definitely flying off the lot in December. I was watching things closely the entire month since I was in the market. Toyota was offering some sweet incentives to move them out. 0% interest for 60 months, rebates, dealer incentives. There was a period during the month that Toyota was paying salespeople $250.00 for each Prius that they sold.

The 2010s had a very long model year. Does anyone know total production numbers for the 2010? I predict the 2011 model year will be short, with notable changes to the 2012.
