Prius Extended Warranty

    At one time there were several Toyota
    dealers that would sell extended warranties at discounted prices. Are these available today?

    No I cannot find one Toyota dealer willing to extend the warraNow I am looking for third party extended warranty groups and it's a crapshoI'm at 98000 and running out of time as we speak

    I guess I didn't make myself clear. I have a gen 3 Prius and a gen 3 Prius that is several years old. If you had a relatively new Prius there are dealers that will sell you a warranty at a discounted price. I was looking for one of those dealers located in the Southeastern part of the country.

    Because I was ignorant, I bought the Toyota Platinum Warranty when I bought my car new. If I knew then what I know now about the Prius reliability, I probably could have saved myself $2000. But, you never know.
