Yes, but people who drive slow, are driving less:

Gas_Burners are too politically authoritarian to even know what it means to go on strike or be in a union...

In JUST the past couple days, noticed a big uptick in state patrol doing speed enforcement.

 

I wonder if they reduced that kind of activity due to Covid? Down here an hour south of you in the State's Capitol I've seen them more in recent days... But then again, state patrol in this state is a joke. Even the Subway sandwich shop a hundred feet from the office of State Patrol headquarters got all their windows smashed and robbed a while back and they didn't even notice.

I own a 2018 Prius Two Eco and I live in South Florida. I haven't gotten any hate, per se, but South Florida drivers are very impatient, and if you don't jet off in .0096 seconds after the light changes to green, you get honked at, but I've found when I just drive my Prius like a regular car and not be too "careful" with the acceleration (like I used to be when I first bought it), I get less tail-gating and aggressive lane changes from other drivers.

 

I like renting cars when we go to Florida...but on the freeway it literally feels like we are on the autobahn. I can't believe how fast some drive down there. We haven't been down there since covid though...but I'm assuming it is the same, or probably worse these days.

 

I'll get honked at, for coming to a legal stop at a stop sign, or when turning right on a red light. Or almost rear-ended, lol.

 

Compared to pre-Covid, it is certainly worse now in my state. Based on recent traffic fatality rates, I think it is worse just about everywhere.
