Prius Hybrid taxis to ply Singapore's roads

    The odd thing is that it costs more to hire a Prius taxi (base rate at SGD3.80) vs. a regular Toyota Crown (SGD3.00). You'd think it'll be in reverse if they want to encourage citizens to hire a green taxi and for owners to make the switch (I believe the company owns the cars rather than the drivers like it is in North America)
