    2010 Prius: Trim I

Trim I - $21,000. More guesses for availability and options?

My guess is that it's going to make its debut closer to the end of summer, maybe early fall and it's going to have features comparable to the Honda Insight. It's probably not going to be able to be upgraded via Nav, Solar roof or Advanced technology. Just a guess.

    From the USA Today article:
They misrepresented the options in that article and called it $6300 in options maxing the price at $34k. What they failed to understand were the options are exclusive of each other and not all options are available at all levels.

$31,770 is the MAX price of the Prius (Prius V w/ Advanced Tech) before port/dealer options, destination, tax/lic/doc, etc.

On a similar note, that's a sharp decrease compared to the initial leaked $34,500 we saw.

Why are you calling this a Prius I? That line ended in 2003. (1999 for our Japanese readers).

That's how they're describing the trim lines, right? Prius I, II, III, IV, V. I guess if I'd be referring to the first generation I'd be calling it the Prius G1. I can't change the subject heading but I edited for clarification.

Yeah we're gonna have to use G1 or G2 instead of Prius I and Prius II so that we don't confuse trim levels and generations lol.
