The slotted + drilled rotors and brake pads arrived yesterday from R1concepts.com, to replace my worn front set. Here's how it looks like:

Why this part of earth don't have much choice for lrr or Eco tyres?

I find it very difficult to replace the OE 195/55/r16. Even borneo say only has Yokohama c-drive available for replacement. What a joke!

Might settle for a 205/55/r16. Does anyone experience a drop in fuel consumption? Cos wider tyre means more contact thus more friction, so need more energy to move from start especially here in the city.

My stock Aux. Battery, Nippon Denchi GS S34B20L, reaches end of life last week. I have noticed the voltage drops to 10+ V since Aug. While looking for a replacement, I used my jump start kit temporarily.

Today, I settled for a slightly smaller alternative, Yuasa 40B19L. I did not upgrade because the battery tray and terminal connectors have to be changed for higher capacity battery. Besides, I have only 2 years left to scrap the car.

noticed that you purchased a 2ndhand prius. I am also very interested in getting a 2ndhand prius.

Anything I should be looking out for? Is it ok to purchase a used prius in Singapore?

I am thinking of purchasing either a 2 yr old or 3 yr old prius. What should I be looking out for?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi all Singapore Prius owners

Owned a used Gen 2 Prius 1.5 for 2.5 years till scrap in 2015, liked it then bought a new Prius 1.8 ZVW30R fm Borneo Motors in late 2015. Last of 4 units as I did not like the Gen 4 exterior look & interior, which had a lot less compartments.

    Fuel consumption (Normal mode):
    Best 4.4L/100km
    Average 4.6 - 4.8L

Can Gen 4 owners share their fuel consumption figures.

My ride, currently with Yokohama Bluearth AE-50 on stock Prius Gen 4 rims.
