PRIUS in sleep mode after no driving at all for 1 month.

    On the Gen III the SKS disables itself after 5 days. On the Gen II there is a switch in the driver's footwell to disable it manually.

    Most modern cars take some power from the battery even when idle and will run down the battery after a few weeks - supposedly the BMW 7 series only lasts about 7 days.

    I have a 2005 Prius II that I leave often at the airport for up to three weeks with this disable FOB switch activated and never had a problem starting upon my return. But it sound like from the above that on the new Prius III that I may have a problem parked in an airport lot with drained battery after e weeks as this switch does not exist. What is the experience of those who have to park for extended periods of time in airport parking lots with their Prius III's?
