For 2019, instead of selling the Prius in trims 1, 2, 3, etc. they are standardizing the trim lingo with the rest of the Toyota models. L, LE, Limited, etc.

My son has a 2007 Prius that drives like a refrigerator - very awkward handling, numb feeling, etc. The newest version with the improved rear suspension is much better and drives like a real car now.

it was a tradeoff between handling and cargo space

I think people are really skipping over the fact that TNGA is a pretty damn good chassis.

I bought a 2019 awd-e; my first Prius. I got the LE, as I like cloth interior.
I've had VW diesels for a long time (and jeeps), and I absolutely love the new Prius: 50mpg+ and AWD sold me instantly (I'm getting into the 70mpg range on certain trips). I love the new looks, too.
It handles decently, but I want a stiffer rear sway bar; I upgrade it on almost every car I have, as cars come from the factory with understeer.

Have you seen the MEG stabilizer bars? @TonyPSchaefer and @will the engineer have positive experiences with it.

    Same here!

I always mod my cars. No matter what car I drive. Shooooot even if I had to drive Big Wheels i'll find something to mod.

    What I can vouche:
If you do decided to go with MEG you'll be impressed how this single direct bolt-on can make a difference. You won't go back to stock.

    What to expect:
In my review I mentioned the springyness is still there (its a single mod offering a solution to a dynamic mutli part system - of course the overall issue will be present!) Do not expect this single bolt-on will magically allow you to take laps on the Nurburgring like a GT3 can - it aint gonna happen. Lets be real here.

    The result/experince we both shared:
The car is MUCH more under control and predictable. The wondering, floatyness, and spring like behavior has been significantly dampened- if that made any sense.

    Thoughts for the future:
Possibility due to mushy shocks or soft springs...this car may need heavier springs.

MEG should come out with sway bars - a little harder since each verison will take on a different shape.

And the Prime Adv. makes the front area a little tricky to install a front sway bar
