    The idea is to check once or twice to validate the desired OCI for your car and driving habits/conditions.

    I doubt it, but it probably does mean that moisture is collecting. That would be an excellent reason to change out the oil.

    UOA is for true car enthusiasts. There is no good reason a Prius would need that done if you change oil every 10k miles, maybe just to make you feel better.
