Prius paint Quality, Rock chips

    I've got a tad over 32K on my 2007 (black) and the hood looks terrible. Went to the dealer and since it's out of warranty don't want to do anything. Cost at the dealer repair shop with the new film = $1058 (includes some dents/film/stripping of hood and bumper).....ouch...I've been thinking about getting the 2011 model. Not sure how much of a hit I'd take either privately or on trade with the paint condition on the hood and bumper. Any thoughts??
