I did note that the wheels shown are the current OE wheels and are not new.

I would be more impressed if there were vanes to close off as much as possible to minimize high-speed drag and accelerate warm-up in cold weather.

    Let's be realistic
If Someone forgets to open them, when they need to and it overheats Toyota gets sued for damages and, their lawyers say we told you so, unless there is automated system I don't see that happening

There are automated systems. The efficiency trims of the Focus and Cruze have them. I'm not sure if they close off to speed warm up, but that's just a change in programing.

I think Japan and European PiP's came with regular Prius rims and hubcaps. So to them these rims are all new.

I have to say, that color scheme is awful. To be honest, I think the grey accents on the door handles grill and trunk garnish are terrible as well. I would rather have a solid color Prius.

Doesn't make it legal. I can tell you that riding around with with a blue dot tailight lens on the back of a motorcycle in NJ will get you a ticket.

Count me out. Two tone is nasty. I like the chrome accent on the grill though.

I'm looking forward to the 2015 Prius Redesign, not small cosmetic changes like this.
