If the last two pars of that story are the proposed 2015 changes they don't look like game changers. 'all new' would surely, as Bisco says, need increased EV range as a minimum.

The new round of Scion limited edition models (in that silver-blue colour) have blue illuminated SCION emblems. Remember that Pontiac had an illuminated "PONTIAC" name in the back and MB is offering illuminated 3-pointed star emblems as a dealer installed accessory.

It's new to them. They had the regular 15" alloys with wheel covers on the PHV.

Three colors are allowed to be illuminated, white, red and yellow in NJ, for example. The Pontiac was ok because the illuminated letters were red. I see plenty of Benzs, but I personally have never seen one with an illuminated star. Now does the Scion emblem stay on while driving or does it flash when using the remote? Unless you can prove it's DOT approved, you can get a ticket if it stays on. Ask me how I know. ;)

I understand. The Benz one I believe is white and it's in the front (so it's legal).

    I did a check on Scion's website

    http://www.scion.com/cars/scion_series/

Looks like they illuminated when you unlock (probably tied to the dome light so they're on if the door is opened or whenever the interior dome light is illuminated) so you're right.

I will edit the other post so that someone doesn't get the wrong info.

The 2-tone color scheme is bad. Yuk.

That has made its way over in one form - it's an available colour combination on the Canadian spec iQ.
