Prius Plug-in Page - The 'My Order' page now has updated order information

    Part of email with dealer this morning:

    "....Your PiP shows that it was scheduled to ship from Japan yesterday, although these dates are estimates. I presume that once it ships we will see an estimated date of arrival to the dealer, as I have that showing for all of the other first-round PiPs in the system."

    Online order submitted: 11/17/2011
    Online dealer agreement [checked]
    Online order confirmed [checked]
    Your Plug-In was built: 2/8/2012

    All other lines are blank

    I havent received an email from Toyota in the past day or so with any specific date or a VIN number or anything.

    Order #1700 Winter Gray Metallic Base

    EDIT:

    When I posted the above information, I had logged onto the Toyota website at about 10AM +/- 10 minutes. When I just chcecked the Toyota website a few minutes ago (11:50AM PST), the "Your Plug-In was built" line was updated/changed to 2/1/2012.

    Additionally, I received an email from Toyota at 10:10AM PST. It looks like they are having issues with their mass email process/system because the subject was: Built_at_plant_template_2. In the email body was my first name, a couple of codes I dont recognize (5 and 4 digit numbers) and another code that I recognize to the color code (08V1) for Winter Gray Metallic. It also includes my dealer's email address, website URL, another 6-digit number I dont recognize, my dealer's phone number, and my dealer's name (Dianne @ Carson Toyota).

    EDIT 2:

    One of the codes in the email body is 04250. A quick Google has revealed that to be the dealer code for Carson Toyota. Still not sure about the other code: 0035

    Crewdog, the maritime website shows the vessel New Century 2 is at the dock at TOYOHASHI.
    So, possibly this could be your ship.

    My web page show nothing for Manufacturing Month. Just the
    "Your Plug-in was built 2/6/2012."

    I would guess that the Manufacturing Month confirmed on my order page just means that a build month is confirmed only. My dealer told me that my car, Advance, Blizzard Pearl is scheduled for the last week of Feb.

    Aric, 0035 might be short for the model code they use... 1235 is your base. 1239 is the advanced, and I saw an email acknowledging a car this morning with an 0039 on it. That was GGood's. That is the only thing that makes sense.

    0035 = regular model
    0039 = advanced.

    All Prii start with a 12 so to them, it's redundant.

    Mine just had a subject line that said "Built_at_plant_template_2".

    The body had this:

    "GREG
    04250
    0039
    08W1", followed by my dealer's info.

    I had no idea Toyota was into Pythagorean mysticism. :D

    Also, my build date got changed later from 2/8/2012 to 2/1/2012.

    Yeah, it seems 035 is base, 039 is advanced, actually I'd say definite. My dads is a base and his said 035, mine is advanced and mine said 039.

    The first group of 5 numbers I think is a dealer code. i went to my dealers page and on the link they have to buy a PiP that number comes up for their dealership.

    And the last set of numbers (mine was 08v1) is exterior color (mine is winter grey metallic.). My dads was 070 which I think is blizzard pearl.

    My dads car was built 2/1/12 and mine was built 2/2/12. Our order #'s were 38 and 42 confirmed by dealer immediately after ordering.

    I thought my car was bring made but I haven't yet received a cryptic email like everybody else. I am not good at being patient. :)

    Judging from the subject of the email "Built_at_plant_template_2", it seems maybe the email should have had a graphic or something more to it. Perhaps we'll see another one today or tomorrow more 'user friendly' than this one...

    I didn't get a new email either, but the web page showed ," your car was built 2/8/2012", then I went back five minutes latter and the date was changed to 2/1/2012.... Hm...even better :):):) Can't wait!

    First 5 numbers = Dealer Code

    so you haven't heard yet.
    I know everyone's TENTATIVE DATE for build.

    Is the day that Toyota's confirmed the car WILL be built in FEB.
    You can't see the day yet.
    You will see it after the car's built.

    Thanks, that clears it up for me also. I have the same 2/8/2012 date as Gary. Of course mine gets to travel across the US to Connecticut before I see it.
