Prius Plug-in Page - The 'My Order' page now has updated order information

    Same as others, may sheet had been changed to 1/27 confirmed. I just checked and that area has been checked and now has a built date of 2/8/2012.

    Anyone know if UPS or FedEx offers lower rates for overnight shipping of a car? :)

    I just checked my order page and saw this::

    Your Plug-in was built[​IMG]1/31/2012


    when did they actually start building? The email from Toyota indicated my Plug-in would be build in February.

    I moved your post in here essaunders mainly because we're talking about what you posted about in here already.

    Seems 1/27 was when they started building them and peoples page are now updated after logging in like you have already seen. :) Soon, very soon!

    If my confirmation # ends with 936, does that mean I'm order #936?

    btw, my estimated production window says Mar-Apr

    OK, mine showed up on the "My Order" page this morning as having been built Feb 8, a day earlier than the estimate of the 9th. No shipping info yet.
    Funny, but Dianne says her dealer info says it was built on the 9th. Go figure...
    Wonder what the email will say, if I do get one. :)

    I think elsewhere it was explained that the number meant the order in which the confirmations were issued when the buyer and dealer had completed their parts in the process. It doesn't have anything to do with the sequence in which orders will be filled.

    So I did some digging and found that (if the info is in fact correct) the Pyxis Leader left Japan February 7, 2012. If that is in fact true AND that is the ship coming to the NE (Newark, NJ) with our cars, can anyone say Early March delivery?! :fingers crossed: Edit: Just found more info. It is expected to hit Balboa, Panama (the beginning of the Panama Canal on Feb. 27th).

    Nope, mine is still there, but do you have a 'Your Plug-in was built on' date? If so the Feb-March window really doesn't matter...

    Maybe try a different browser. On one of my computers Chrome sometimes loads the bottom half and other times it doesn't. Oddly enough, Explorer always loads it right. Viewing the Pip page is about all I use Explorer for lol.

    I'm looking into some of these dates that are moving around, will be back to you shortly, some of it has to do with you logging in and the system sending a message to the factory to retrieve the latest update. I'll get more info.

    In any event, to clarify, the Manufacturing Month Confirmed date is not the date of your build, it is the date that the factory confirmed to us that your vehicle would be built in a particular month. For ex, those with Feb build dates, the factory may have confirmed this on 1/27/12. The vehicle was not built on 1/27/12.

    Make sense? Sorry if that was confusing.

    Got an email today from Toyota saying that my PiP has been built and is on its way to me. Woo hoo! I'll let you know when it arrives.

    I just got an email telling me my plug-in is on the way to the boat. When I checked on line, it listed the build date as 2/2. What is the typical shipping time to the NW?

    Got Toyota email today and MyOrder with #110 lists -

    Order status/history
    Online order submitted 11/17/2011
    Online dealer agreement [​IMG]
    Online order confirmed [​IMG]
    Manufacturing month confirmed [​IMG]
    Your Plug-in was built 2/3/2012
    In transit to port
    Arrived at US port

    So now I wait for the delivery.
    Is it coming UPS Ground or FedEx overnight ???
