For Sale Prius plug in wheels

Nice! I always wondered what my wheels weigh. I looked up the stock gen 3 wheels and found 16.3 pounds in one thread here. Those are pretty nice, by the way. I imagine it's hard to wait to get them installed.

 

Basic philosophy: The one with the most rims in their collection when they die wins!!!!

This stuff is perfect colour match. New tube flows very good.

 

The retort to that claim is:

Others have to "embrace" the collection as "inheritance".

 

I couldn't find my "casio" digital for a week or two. Broke down: dug my (dear departed) Dad's retirement Omega Automatic out of the "rose tin" (our keepsake repository), looked up a youtube on how to take links out of wrist strap (had to take out 4~5...), and wearing it now. Very nice watch, been sitting in that tin for nearly 30 years now.

 

I worked out the the weight of our OEM 17" rims, with some extrapolation: weighed the rim with tire (and valve, weights), then subtracted the spec'd weight of the tire, was around 24 pounds. Bit of a porker...
