    Hello Everyone!

I have a Prius Plus and I'have been struggling with the next problem.

The engine jerks and the igniton jingles.

No error code ind ECU system, but we made a live data monitoring test (enroute) and the computer signed
ignition problem in changing piston. Once piston 1 and then piston 4 then piston 2 etc. but not continously neverthless the engine jerked all on the test way.

What we did for fixing the problem:

    - EGR valve pipe and cooling system cleaned
    - Repleaced spark plug and coil
    - Repleaced air mass sensor
    - Engine cooling water level ok
    - oil consuption 0,5liter(0,13gal)-1liter(0,26gal) / 15.000km (9500mi) so its ok

    Has enyone have idea?

    Thanks Adam!

Cleaning the entire EGR system from intake manifold to exhaust manifold, this includes EGR COOLER and the EGR ports in the intake manifold, and you might get lucky IMHO. Then we can work from there.

Read EGR & Intake Manifold Clean Results (posted in my sig)

    BTW, what's your mileage?

    Thank you Mjoo,
we did that from the intake manifold to exhaust manifold. It has 250.000 mi . The cylinder gasket was repleaced around 60.000 miles ago. Today we measured the cylinder pressure
1 cyl.:1.5 bar, 2cyl.:1,4bar , 3cyl :1.2bar 4cyl.: 1,2 bar . I think it is normal for this milage. it looks like the gasket ok.
Tomorrow we try to replace the fuel pump from an other Prius Plus.
