Just call me, "Mr. Fly in the ointment (in the Prius?)", but my biggest complaint with the "regular" Prius is "unsportsmanlike" driveability!
The Prime fixes a LOT of that with a zippy, swooshy take off, and balanced tossability I haven't seen in the "average" Prius. And besides, who wants to cram all those noisy, smelly people in your nice car; stick 'em in your friend's van, har, har!! AND, Yes Martha, ALL my band equipment fits just fine in my Prime, although I do lay down a blanket to protect my baby from scuffing!

Anyone who thinks of a prius prime as a 2 seat fun car with a bonus back seat and a handy place to transport a week's grocery shopping needs to get their head checked.

What you just described is a Porsche 911 not a Prius prime.

Hey, my head may be bald, but it works fine, thank you, as does my Prime Advanced Sports Sedan !!

Oh! So that's what those "9 1 1" numbers mean on the back of my of my Prime; but you know, I have no problem whatsoever with trailing oversteer!! Dr. Porsche must have moved to Japan and gotten a lesson in civilized handling! Don't get me started!!

I must admit that my Sax/flute/piccolo player, Wayne, carries his gear in the bass player's Volt!

My one aunt on my dad's side, her husband had an Isseta:

I was pretty young, but I've got this vague memory he used to transport kettle drums??

I can't afford a Porche 911 -- even though Mrs. Bear would like one as a second car.

Trust me Old Bear from personal experience, get a Porsche, get a divorce!
The one I had in 1971 was the worst car I ever owned!!. Now on the other hand, my wife talked me into the 4 year-old 1969 Alfa Romeo GTV, and that was the BEST car I ever owned. She thought it was cute!

    Mr. Leisk,
If you can let the air out of those kettledrums, they'll fit just fine in the Isetta!

Wow. That's a great deal less room, IMO. I rented a regular 2017 Prius non-plugin with the funky, teeny back lights and very quickly missed the space difference between it and my '13 v in the shop getting painted and a mini "spa visit" (detail and wax), especially when my medical alert service dog and I enjoyed an impromptu brunch from the trunk area overlooking the beach and part of Malibu Hills. Thankfully. I'm short.
So the height makes a big difference for me. Plus, from all the packing and traveling, the height and width can make a difference on how easy it is to pack stuff, especially the bigger or bulky items.

Having to fold down the seats means that then the scooter is not as safely covered away from thief's. That's part of why I also tinted my windows.

Thanks for posting about your scooter.

Do you have a second car? What do you do if you have more than 4 to carry? Thanks!

Was this directed to me? I don’t have a Prime, just the 5-person PiP. We do have a second vehicle though (Leaf).

Yeah. Working on getting the windows tinted. This was even a travel scooter.

Last week we got the joy of visiting my partners’ brother and took him (and his wheeled walker) out for lunch. Wow. The walker takes up the FULL trunk space.
