How much is the asking price and which dealership is it? If you don't mind sharing the info here.

It's at Sun Toyota. Here's a picture of the window sticker. The car is white, but for some reason the lighting makes it look pink in the picture. Note the almost $1,000 in add ons. IMG_7942.JPG

The pink color is the reflection off your face regarding the $1,000 in add-ons. ;)

The dealer has installed 'warm', low K, florescent lights and they give every thing a red tint. My last office had them and I felt like I was in a cave and was depressing. So I bought daylight, high K, tubes and solved the problem. In a short visit, our minds can 'correct' for a lot of light problems but if you're stuck there, owch.

Actually, photography is my main hobby. Like I said, I was lazy. Otherwise I'd have used the Nikon and shot RAW so I could adjust the color. ;)

Yowch!! What a bunch of overpricing, greedy lizards!! (I'm sorry if I've offended anyone who's a member of the American Lizard Society!) I remember when we sold Jaguars in their heyday, back in 1987-1988, for MSRP (sticker price), but we didn't have the nerve to fabricate these BS jackups to stiff our clients; as a client, I would simply walk out of that dealership, after making sure to inform the staff why I would never buy a car from them, and that I would inform others regarding their lousy treatment of clients. The nice thing is, you do have some truly sensational alternatives to buying from these Nazis!
You buy in the Northeast, and then make sure they see what you paid. The sad thing is, you may not have another local dealer to use for service. You could still be a holdout by servicing as much as several hundred miles away, since you don't need to visit the dealer after the initial free service, more often than every 10,000 miles. Get your free tire rotations and balancing at America's/Discount Tire.
In Socal, the dealers better kiss your heinie, since the competition is pretty ferocious, at least for service. Our prices certainly stink, compared to the Northeast, although we do have the California rebates, HOV lane stickers, and cash rebates for L2 chargers in some localities.
You've definitely got to do your homework when you're spending near $35K.

;) Well, if you want to know the truth, it wasn't so much that I was lazy, it's just that I didn't plan to take that picture and you guys just weren't worth the trip home to get my camera and then do the processing in the computer. :ROFLMAO::D:ROFLMAO::D:)

C'mon Jerry, it's time to take a road trip to NE/NY/NJ and take advantage of the $4500. Toyota Cash Back in March and the 2018 Federal Tax Credit of $4502. The Advanced is great, but for $3k more?, I'd recommend the Premium with the same nav screen. Hard to pass up the incentives for a very good car. I just put a full size spare with a cover in the back and move it around as needed.

Same here. Wrap it and behind one of the front seats. Only for the long trips. Tire/wheel is borrowed out of my wife's Lexus.

You guys are driving me nuts. (Well, it's actually more of a gimme putt than a drive.) I'll think about it. It's going to be a while before I've saved enough shekels anyway. ;) Wife still loves her '07 and I really can't fuss about my current 137 mpg showing on the PiP's display after almost 500 miles on this tank. (Still over half a tank left.) Prime would do much better, but this is still amazing. I'll probably change my mind several more times. LOL!

@DavidA, I didn't realize the Premium had the big screen, too. Thought it was just the Advanced. Went to the Toyota web site and, sho nuff, you're right! If I do decide on a Prime, that sure looks like the most bang for the buck.

BTW, I stopped over at Todd's shop (Home - Tampa Hybrids Inc.) yesterday afternoon and his wife is driving one of those gorgeous blue magnetism Primes. Maybe he'll be selling them by the time I'm ready.

I doubt Todd will be selling his wife's car
2018 Trim 4 Liftback also has the 11" screen, but you are hooked on the Plugin crack ;)
