Prius seat swap

I purchased a full prius leather interior from I'm guessing an 06-08 prius to install in my 04 prius with cloth seats. Everything bolted in fine but the front passenger seat has a different wire connection. The airbag wire plugged in fine but the sensor and seat belt monitor wire won't plug in. No light is illuminated on the dash. Will my passenger side air bag operate? If not can I splice the wires to trick the car into thinking the passenger seat is always occupied?
